We will have a great range of Woolly Workshops for you this autumn!

We’re currently finalising the timetable and will publish it as soon as we can.  Once we do, we'll start taking bookings.

Meanwhile, to whet your appetite, here’s a sneak peek at what we we're planning.

As last year, we’ll be holding an open session for people who want to learn to knit or crochet or to get some help with a troublesome project.

If you can already knit but would like to start knitting in the round we have the perfect workshop for you, with the option to follow that up by learning to knit socks.

More experienced knitters can try out an array of knitting techniques - including slipstitch knitting, beaded lace knitting, entrelac knitting, domino knitting and knitting a top-down Fairisle yoke for a sweater.

If crochet is your thing, we have a crochet for beginners workshop, followed by crochet flowers. We’re also building on the success of more specialist workshops in the last couple of years with follow up workshops on hairpin lace and Tunisian crochet.

And then there will be workshops on wet feting, needle felting, nuno felting and weaving without a loom, to say nothing of drop spinding, Dorset buttons and machine embroidery.
